This year the 18th "concrete canoe race" took place in Brandenburg an der Havel. In a great atmosphere and perfect weather, about 80 teams from 30 institutions ran down the Beetzsee with 45 self-designed and built racing canoes made of concrete. Kottmann GmbH supported the "Bauigel" team of the University of Stuttgart as a sponsor.
