As part of the LEILAC2 project, a demonstration plant is being built for the first time that can capture 20 percent of the CO2 process emissions of a regular clinker kiln, thus improving the carbon footprint of cement production.<\/p>\n

The new carbon dioxide capture technology will be integrated in the Hanover cement plant of HeidelbergCement AG.
<\/p>\n

In this context, Kottmann GmbH was contracted for some preliminary planning and structural design of the Leilac Tower including its foundation on a very restricted construction site.<\/p>\n
